The MUET Entry Test Result 2024 announced today 29 June 2024 at 4:00 PM. The entrance exam for admission to Mehran University of Engineering & Technology Jamshoro in 2024 was successfully conducted. Following the merit policy of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and HEC, MUET administers these entrance exams. All applicants were required to take the entrance exam in June 2024. After seven days from the exam date, they can visit the official website at https://www.muet.edu.pk to view their MUET admission test result 2024. To qualify and become eligible for admission, candidates must achieve a minimum of 40% marks in the Entry Tests.

Note :The Pre-Admission Test Results for 2024 will be announced in three shifts: on June 24th at 1:30 PM, June 25th, June 26th & 29 June at 4:00 PM . Each day will have three testing sessions.

Candidates may apply under the Regular, Self-Financing, and Special schemes if they have at least a B-Grade and 60% of the total possible points in the HSSC Part-II (Pre-Engineering) annual examinations. For programs like Computer Systems, Software, Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering, candidates must also have at least a B-Grade and 60% overall in HSSC Part-II (General Science). Additionally, diploma holders in related technologies, such as Chemical/Glass & Ceramics Technology, must have a minimum of 60% to qualify for Chemical Engineering.

The merit list for each district and category at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) created by calculating the overall merit based on the marks obtained in SSC, HSC, and the Pre-admission Test. These marks  weighted accordingly and combined to determine the Composite Percentage Number (CPN). The formula used for this calculation is as follows: SSC percentage contributes 10%, HSSC percentage contributes 30%, and the Pre-admission Test contributes 60% to the final CPN.

After the Pre-admission Test results  released, a merit list is compiled. Shortlisted candidates  then required to attend interviews at MUISTD on the specified dates. Candidates are required to bring their original certificates for verification during the interview process. Those who fail to attend the interview without prior notice will forfeit their admission rights.
