New Petrol Prices in Pakistan from 16 September 2024 Updated – New petrol prices in Pakistan will be announced today, September 15, 2024, at night. The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs. 10 per litre, bringing it down to Rs. 249.1, while high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs. 13.6 per litre, now priced at Rs. 249.15. The new rates will take effect on September 16. This decrease in petroleum product prices is due to the ongoing decline in global oil prices.

New petrol prices for Pakistan will be announced on September 16, 2024. In the last two weeks, global oil prices have fallen below $70 per barrel. Concurrently, the Pakistani rupee has stabilized at 278 per US dollar. It should be noted that during the previous biweekly review of fuel prices, the government reduced the petrol price by Rs. 1.86 per litre and the high-speed diesel price by Rs. 3.32 per litre. Prior to today, petrol and diesel prices had already been reduced by Rs. 16.50 and Rs. 20.88 per liter, respectively, over the previous three adjustments.

Between September 1 and September 14, international crude oil prices fell by Rs 8 to Rs 12. Crude oil prices in the global market have fallen from $90 per barrel in April 2024 to around $70 per barrel in September, the lowest price in the last six months.
